As you will notice from our promotions, we feature original web page, ticketing, and review links in order to provide authenticity and validation to our offers. Although our terms state no refunds we are happy to analyze each refund or exchange request on a case by case basis. Ultimately, it is not our decision to issue a refund on a voucher, it is at the discretion of the underlying merchant. Here are a few cases for you to review in which we have or have not been able to process a full or partial refund or exchange:

1) $159 For Ten Boxing Lessons

We heard from a member that they had injured themselves. In their message they provided a doctor’s note which stated that the member would not be able to participate in physical activity until they were healed and reviewed for a physical. In this instance, the merchant was okay with us processing a refund for the ten pack of classes, given they had not yet redeemed their voucher or participated in any classes.

2) $39 Ticket To An Event

A few minutes after making a purchase to a ticketed event we were contacted by a member who realized that he purchased a ticket to the wrong session. Given he wrote almost immediately after the purchase, and the merchant was okay with him switching sessions, we were happy to cancel his voucher to the incorrect session and issue a pulsd credit so the member could purchase his ticket for the correct session. Event tickets can be difficult to refund given the cost the organizers have to put on the production. However, given we had the inventory and the authorization from the merchant, we were able to work with him to make the right purchase.

3) $19 Dinner For Two

One member made a purchase for a dinner voucher on a one day special and wrote to support@pulsd.com months after the voucher expired asking to cancel their purchase. Unfortunately, this is a case where we are unauthorized to issue a refund, credit, or exchange of any kind given we had paid the merchant on this member’s voucher and the voucher had expired. In this situation, we recommend contacting the merchant directly to see if they would be able to accept this voucher as a credit to the restaurant. The expiration date is clearly stated in the fine print of the promotion, as well as the voucher which is why we recommend reviewing the promotion clearly in order to avoid disappointment. This is one of the cases in which the merchant will not authorize a refund, credit, or exchange of any kind.
