We are looking for a Strategic Account Executive to join a small team of highly-skilled professionals whose focus is on engaging New York City restaurants, experiential event producers, fitness studios, spas & other hospitality businesses - then subsequently persuading them to incorporate pulsd into their growth plans.

We are New Yorkers who are all about New York City. Current partners include hundreds of local businesses, all the way up to mega brands such as Tao Group, Union Square Hospitality, Bluebird London NYC, Peloton, Skin Spa, Eataly, The Bowery Hotel and many more.

Responsibilities
  • Grow new client relationships by analyzing, building and managing a sales pipeline of thousands of local businesses for long-term sustained success.
  • Drive opportunities through a high volume of outbound calling and emailing.
  • Meet in person with SMBs and enterprise clients in order to build relationships and close new accounts.
  • Evaluate partners that will resonate well with the core pulsd demographic.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Achieve quarterly revenue goals.

Desirable
  • Experience in a fast paced, sales environment.
  • Consistent record of hitting monthly and quarterly quota.
  • Fast learner who can hit the ground running, and generate revenue from the get-go.
  • Experience selling into restaurants, SMBs, and entertainment businesses.
  • Can execute under pressure in a start-up environment.
  • Competent in Salesforce, Asana & Google Drive..
  • Assertive, persistent, closer attitude.

Requirements
  • Graduate with a bachelor’s degree from a leading university or liberal arts college.
  • 1-3 years of demonstrated success in full-lifecycle sales, or a strong interest in sales and desire to start a career in the field at full speed.
  • Experience in developing relationships with new customers & excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of New York City’s hospitality and entertainment industries - and a desire to make this not only central to your career but central to your day to day life.
  • Intellectual curiosity & a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to exceed personal performance metrics in a fast paced and high pressure environment.
  • A desire to work with an exceptionally high level of intensity to close business, and an exceptionally high level of integrity to build long term relationships.
  • Prior usage of pulsd and familiarity with the platform encouraged.
  • Knowledge of 2nd & 3rd language a plus.

We are looking for a Content Manager to join a small team of highly-skilled professionals whose focus is on bringing more users and businesses onto the pulsd platform. This is a cross functional role that includes writing, social and design.

  • Produce content and lead content strategy for pulsd across all of our platforms including web, app, and social media covering an audience of 400,000 New Yorkers.
  • Work directly with pulsd's Editorial Director to produce engaging, lifestyle themed editorial content.
  • Build and maintain a strong brand identity that resonates with the target audience, using a combination of creativity, analytics, and a deep understanding of our members' needs and market trends.
  • Shoot and edit a wide range of social-first content; unscripted and scripted, using both original and legacy footage from a wide range of brand partners in New York City's hospitality and entertainment industries.
  • Become "the face of pulsd" and an authority on New York City's hospitality and entertainment scene.

We are looking for a Business Operations Associate to join a small team of highly-skilled professionals whose focus is on delighting consumers and businesses on the pulsd platform.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily business operations including responding to all in-bound customer and partner requests.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all partner matters, with a focus on building long-standing relationships.
  • Prepare partner performance reports, and recommendations, on an as needed basis.
  • Work with the Business Development team to ensure seamless execution of promotion launches.
  • Analyze performance of current offers daily to determine exposure across the platform.
  • Provide feedback to the team on how to improve offerings, product, and practices.

Requirements
  • Be truly passionate about the New York City hospitality & entertainment industries.
  • Graduate with a bachelor's degree from a leading university or liberal arts college.
  • Experience in a customer service, account management, or business operations role, or a strong desire to start a career in the field at full speed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and passion for providing the highest level of customer service.
  • Experience in interacting with customers and partners via email, telephone, and in person.
  • Intellectual curiosity & a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to primarily cover operations for 4 days during the regular work week and being on call as needed during the weekend, for a total of a 5 day work week.
  • Prior usage of pulsd and familiarity with the platform a plus.
  • Fluency in a 2nd & 3rd language is a plus.
