New York Fashion Week can get a little exclusive - but All American designer Tommy Hilfiger wants to bring retail back down to earth, with a live fashion show that takes place on an outdoor runway at South Street Seaport. For the occasion, the seaport will be transformed into a carnival, with a 40 ft ferris wheel, fair games, rides, and hot dogs, burgers, ice creams, cotton candy, donuts and French fries. And in a surprise move, 1/2 of the whopping 2,000 attendants of Friday's 7pm show will be the general public. The next day from 12pm until 9pm, the carnival officially opens its doors to the public, with Tommy and Gigi Hadid collaboration pop-up shops, a vintage Tommy shop, nail art and temporary tattoos.
