Founder Kevin Tarasuk is all about inspiration. After earning his BFA at the nationally renowned Rhode Island School of Design & exhibiting his paintings in Miami, he saw how his art brought joy to others. Painting Lounge is his vision, with the mission of sharing the benefits of painting with New Yorkers & visitors alike!

Their talented, yet patient and engaging guidance takes you through a step by step, easy-to-follow process reproducing paintings including Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss," or Van Gogh's "The Starry Night," not to mention original works in case you want to go off course!
The studio provides private and small group lessons that span across a multitude of mediums. Best of all, supplies are always included! At all 4 locations in Manhattan & Brooklyn, professional artists/instructors take a genuine interest in their students, walking around the lounge to answer any questions and to inspect your work as it comes together.

"This place was AWESOME. Normally I don't do these types of things but I wanted to try this with a friend.... and we bought the pulsd voucher. Our instructor was very friendly, and def kept the class entertained. There was a basic structure to what we were painting but you could add your own touches. I am not great at art by any means but I still had a lot of fun. Will be going back again."
"I came here with some friends. Such a great experience. Everyone is set up at their own easel with paint prepped and given a smock/apron to wear in order to their protect clothes. The class is BYOB - so of course we each bring a bottle of red. Napkins, cups, bottle and wine openers are all provided. Our instructor, Franny, did a wonderful job at leading the class in our painting. We all had so much fun and were happy to have signed up. I will definitely be returning!"
