With exposed wood beam ceilings, stone walls covered with wine bottles and a rotating selection of contemporary art, Adalya is an evocative blend of rustic comfort and a modern sensibility, reminiscent of the fashionable enotechas along the Mediterranean coast.
The restaurant's menu created by acclaimed Chef Derek Miles (formerly at Salinas, 2 NY Times stars) reflects upon a modern Mediterranean inspiration; brilliantly juxtaposing locally sourced ingredients and authentic spices imported from Greece, Spain, and Turkey.
Among the small plates and snacks, market fresh dishes like Grilled Oysters with Chimichurri and Fried Calamari & Artichokes (preserved lemon-ginger aioli) are standouts. The Chef's personal favorite, Braised Short Rib Flatbread (maitake mushrooms, feta, za'atar) is also irresistible.
