New York, get ready to raise a glass and grab a spoon. Bowl of ‘Zole is back on Thursday October 22, 2026, bringing one seriously spirited night of pozole, mezcal, tequila & Mexican flavor to Industry City. Starting at 6:00pm, this all-inclusive feast is serving up bowl after bowl of the good stuff alongside a staggering 300+ agave spirits, because when it comes to this fiesta, more really is mezcal better.
Grab your $35 GA Ticket (a $71 value) and prepare to go full bowl mode. You’ll dig into pozoles and traditional Mexican dishes from 20+ standout chefs & restaurants while sipping your way through Unlimited Tastings of 300+ Mezcals, Tequilas, Raicillas, Sotols & other Agave Spirits, plus beer, wine, zero-proof drinks & more.
On the liquid side of things, prepare for some very pour decisions. More than 300 spirits will be flowing from producers including Mezcal Vago, Tequila Ocho, Don Fulano, Sotol Parejo, Tequila Fortaleza, Dos Pasiones, Cardenxe Sotol, Mezcal de Leyendas, Cruz del Fuego, Flor Del Desierto, Los Siete Misterios, Cazcanes, Arette, Volans, Alma Del Jaguar & many more.
Then, of course, there’s the ‘zole. This year’s lineup pulls from serious culinary firepower, including Johnny Curiel of Michelin-starred, James Beard Award-nominated Alma Fonda Fina, Eric See of Ursula, a two-time James Beard Award semifinalist and Bon Appétit honoree, Yara Herrera of New York Times & Bon Appétit-praised Hellbender, plus talent from Michelin-celebrated Casa Enrique, Michelin-starred Oxomoco, The New York Times-featured Panzón, and more.
Expect steaming bowls layered with hominy, rich broths, tender meats, vibrant garnishes and plenty of chef-driven surprises. One minute you may be spoon-deep in something deeply traditional, the next you’re discovering a wildly creative remix that has you reconsidering everything you thought you knew about pozole.
There’s also a feel-good reason to go back for seconds. Bowl of ‘Zole is proudly partnering with City Harvest, and participating chefs will prepare extra pozole for donation. City Harvest rescues food and distributes it free to hundreds of food pantries and soup kitchens across the five boroughs, helping New Yorkers experiencing food insecurity.
Sip well, eat well, do some good. Not a bad recipe for a Thursday night...
Food Karma Projects knows how to stir the pot in the very best way. Founded by restaurateur and social entrepreneur Jimmy Carbone, named a Zagat “Superhero,” the New York-based production company is behind some of the city’s most beloved food and drink celebrations, all designed to spotlight incredible chefs, makers, brewers, winemakers & distillers while giving back to the community.
Its lineup reads like a greatest hits menu of pulsd favorites: Pig Island, Brisket King, Rib King and, of course, Bowl of ‘Zole. Carbone is also the former owner of East Village institution Jimmy’s No. 43, founder of The Good Beer Seal and host of the long-running Beer Sessions Radio podcast. A two-time NYC Arts “Local Hero,” his work has also been featured in Edible Manhattan and Village Voice.
For Bowl of ‘Zole, Carbone teams up with spirits expert Arik Torren of Lot001 Brands and La Lonchería chef Danny Mena, author of Made in Mexico, to create a night dedicated to two very important food groups: pozole and agave. Taking over Industry City , the festival brings together 20+ chefs & restaurants and more than 300 spirits for one gloriously over-the-top tasting experience.
Pozole is the star of the bowl, naturally. The classic Mexican stew starts with hominy and builds from there with deep, savory broths, slow-cooked meats, fresh herbs, crunchy garnishes and layers upon layers of flavor. At Bowl of ‘Zole, chefs take that foundation and run with it, serving everything from comforting traditional recipes to playful, cheffy riffs that prove there’s more than one way to ‘zole.
And if your glass is looking lonely, that problem won’t last long. The spirits lineup spans mezcal, tequila, raicilla, sotol and more, inviting guests to taste their way through smoky pours, earthy sips, bright expressions and bottles from artisanal producers and celebrated labels alike. And through its partnership with City Harvest, Bowl of ‘Zole chefs will prepare additional pozole for donation, helping support food rescue and distribution efforts across all five boroughs.
The result? A decadent celebration where the only real challenge is deciding whether to go back for another pour or another spoonful first. Our advice: why choose?
