Cheers to Thursday in luxurious style under the cast of iron domes evoking the glass rotundas of the Grand Palais at Ms Yoo, an adored Lower East Side retreat where bewitching decor, upscale Korean cuisine, and a masterful mixology program collide for the perfect night of indulgent revelry.
Here, you'll embark on a staggering all-you-can-eat and drink adventure, where tacos are the star, and the sips are poured with a generous, heavy hand. You can thank the brilliance of The New York Times and Food + Wine-celebrated Chef Esther Choi, whose mastery of the culinary arts is also showcased at her equally celebrated Chelsea gem, Mokbar.
Named after her grandmother, Ms Yoo is a passion project that reflects Choi's heritage, not to mention her love of cooking instilled in her by that same matriarch. Her recipes are inventive and authentic, striking a balance of retaining tradition while infusing each plate with creativity & modern ingenuity that's second to none.
The decor is not to be ignored, as cast iron trellises covered with vines weave their way throughout. Fresh florals dot the scene, bringing nature into the building while retaining an elegance that still nods to the ultra-cool Lower East Side neighborhood it calls home.
As Thursday rolls around, get prepared, and come hungry. For a full 90 minutes, experience a procession of flavors your palate will adore. Think Spicy Pork Tacos with guacamole, radish kimchi, and pineapple, Tofu Tacos filled with sautéed vegetables, chili sauce, and avocado puree, or the Bulgogi Beef - a favorite that's as drool-worthy as it sounds.
Eat up, but also drink up as the flavored margaritas flow. Want to mix it up? Lychee soju cocktails are on deck, as are frosty beers. Whatever you sip, do it while being surrounded by tacos, your best pals, and vibes galore...
All selections will be made from the restaurant's full AYCE Taco menu.
