Founded by Chef Esther Choi and named after the beloved grandmother who taught her how to cook as a child, Ms Yoo is a sight to behold. Inside, get lost in enchanting trellises covered in evergreen climbing vines, illuminated by the glow of pendant bulbs and a dash of pink neon that adds an edgy vibe to the otherwise whimsical setup.

Here, you'll embark on a staggering all-you-can-eat and drink adventure, where tacos are the star, and the sips are poured with a generous, heavy hand. You can thank the brilliance of The New York Times and Food + Wine-celebrated Chef Esther Choi, whose mastery of the culinary arts is also showcased at her equally celebrated Chelsea gem, Mokbar.
Named after her grandmother, Ms Yoo is a passion project that reflects Choi's heritage, not to mention her love of cooking instilled in her by that same matriarch. Her recipes are inventive and authentic, striking a balance of retaining tradition while infusing each plate with creativity & modern ingenuity that's second to none.
The decor is not to be ignored, as cast iron trellises covered with vines weave their way throughout. Fresh florals dot the scene, bringing nature into the building while retaining an elegance that still nods to the ultra-cool Lower East Side neighborhood it calls home.
