Korean K9 Rescue is a volunteer-driven No-Kill dog rescue organization based in Queens, New York and Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, South Korea. They transport homeless and mistreated dogs from South Korea and place them with loving forever families, primarily in New York City, Boston, and Los Angeles.
Because of an unfortunate stigma surrounding mixed-breed dogs–and the dog meat trade that persists within the country, many dogs in South Korea are unlikely to be adopted at home and are in grave danger of being euthanized. They believe that all dogs should be happy and free. With their partners in Korea, they are stepping in to help at-risk dogs live healthy, happy, long lives.
Please join them in their mission by snapping up a ticket to the 9th Annual Howl-O-Ween Party! KK9R has rescued and rehomed over 3,500 dogs from the most heartbreaking conditions. Proceeds from this event directly support their pioneering rescue and rehab center in Bundang-gu, where over 150 dogs at a time receive top-notch care, behavioral training, and love as they prepare for life in forever homes across the U.S.
It all happens at Spicy Moon Bowery, which feels like entering a moody, neon-drenched dreamscape. The interior mixes rich, saturated lighting - pinks, purples, and deep blues - with vintage touches like checkered flooring, velvet seating, and bold wallpapers or murals. A long bar glows with ambient backlighting, while leafy plants and eclectic decor soften the space. The vibe is energetic but intimate, aka the perfect place for this fabulous soirée!
