Applauded by The New York Times on many an occasion, Kahkow's roots run deep - since 1905, to be exact. Chocolate grower, processor and exporter Rizek Cacao has been family-owned & operated throughout, opening Kahkow in 2019 to share their incredible origins and process with true chocolate lovers.

Now run by the fifth generation of the Rizek family, the company boasts 25 farms in the Dominican Republic, working with an additional 2,500 small farmers that they support through a nonprofit organization.

Watch as chocolatiers work their magic, witnessing the journey from bean to bar, marveling at a livestream of the family farms in the DR, giving this global process an intimate, personal touch.
