Nighthawks, a relatively new addition to the hopping West Village restaurant scene, with a twist. Offering a fresh raw bar, where you can select your fish to order, the restaurant is gaining a strong following for Mediterranean seafood; yet still offers American favorites.
A lively dinner crowd starts gathering at around 6:00pm and the restaurant remains buzzing all night. New Yorkers come to Nighthawks for the locally sourced organic ingredients, fresh daily catches and extensive wine list.
Take your pick from entrees that include Filet Mignon, Steak Prime, Kofte Kebab and Braised Lamb Shank to name a few. However, while the restaurant truly excels at all entrees, it is one of the best places to enjoy fresh fish in downtown Manhattan.
