Taste of the Seaport is back for its 16th year on Saturday September 26, 2026 from 12:00pm until 4:00pm, transforming Piers 16 & 17 into one massive open-air feast overlooking the East River and Brooklyn Bridge. Think crisp fall air, live music, serious NYC food, drinks by the water, and top restaurants & local businesses coming together for one of Lower Manhattan's most delicious traditions.

Add adored spots like Sadie's, Cowgirl SeaHorse, Felice, SUteiShi, Il Brigante, Da Claudio, Kesté Pizza e Vino, Dim Sum Palace, Cobble Fish, Fresh Salt, Binondo Filipino Eatery and more, and you've got a lineup made for arriving hungry.
The setting might be just as good as the food. Wander between the historic Seaport's waterfront piers with the Brooklyn Bridge and East River as your backdrop, tasting, sipping, mingling and catching live music along the way. What started as a small neighborhood street market in 2010 has grown into one of Manhattan’s most anticipated culinary traditions. Now celebrating its 16th year, Taste of the Seaport brings together the restaurants, chefs, small businesses, families and neighbors that make this historic waterfront community tick, all against the spectacular backdrop of the East River, Brooklyn Bridge and Piers 16 & 17.
The neighborhood has become a dining destination in its own right, and this year's lineup shows it. Expect Michelin Guide-adored Carne Mare, Le Gratin, Daniel Boulud's ode to the bouchons of his native Lyon, and The Fulton, Jean-Georges Vongerichten's seafood destination perched right over the East River. They're joined by an eclectic cross-section of the neighborhood, including Felice, Kesté Pizza e Vino, Dim Sum Palace, SUteiShi, Il Brigante, Cowgirl SeaHorse, The Paris Café, Industry Kitchen, Da Claudio, Old Mates, Sadie's, Willett's and plenty more.
And there may be no better place for it than the South Street Seaport, one of New York City's oldest waterfront districts. Centuries-old cobblestones, historic ships and landmark buildings now sit alongside destination restaurants and the modern Pier 17, giving the festival that quintessentially New York collision of old and new. For one afternoon, the waterfront becomes a sprawling neighborhood tasting room, with restaurant stations, live music, drinks, entertainment and sweeping views.
But Taste of the Seaport has always been about more than what's on the plate. The festival is the primary annual fundraiser for two neighborhood public schools, Peck Slip School (PS 343) and Spruce Street School (PS 397), helping provide enrichment opportunities, educational resources and programming for local students. It's a festival built by the neighborhood, for the neighborhood.
