Start with the star of any proper hot pot session: the broth. Choose from an impressive lineup that ranges from silky Pork Bone Collagen and Hainan Coconut Chicken to fiery Chongqing Spicy ad Tom Yum, then get dipping. Step inside and the atmosphere feels contemporary and approachable rather than formal. Exposed brick, patterned floors, natural wood, greenery, graphic artwork, and oversized woven pendant lights warm up the dining room, while colorful ingredients and gleaming individual hot pots provide plenty of visual drama at the tables.
The kitchen gives you plenty to play with. Easy Joy’s extensive broth lineup spans deeply comforting to seriously spicy, while an abundant selection of thinly sliced meats, seafood, mushrooms, vegetables, tofu, noodles, dumplings, and hot pot specialties lets everyone customize their meal. It’s a modern take on a centuries-old Chinese ritual centered around sharing, cooking, and eating together, except here, there’s no fighting over the last mushroom.
