The master mixologist team will whip up tangy Blood Orange Mimosas repping freshly-squeezed Moro blood orange juice and effervescent prosecco rosé, not to mention the Ferrari Spritz comprised of Campari, Fernet, prosecco, candied lemon zest, and rosemary salt, while Executive Chef Trevor Kalafus (former Chef de Cuisine at Casa Lever) works his magic on stunningly scrumptious dishes.

After the success of their inaugural San Francisco location, Bar Sprezzatura has travelled from west to east, finding its second home at this jaw-dropping location. For the curious and the cultured, it draws inspiration from the relaxed elegance of Italy's coastal lifestyle, all within a bi-level setting repping both indoor and outdoor seating so you can savor your sips & sustenance all year long.
Italian-born Lead Mixologist Carlo Splendorini created the stunning beverage program in NYC before going back to his SF roots. Trained at the Istituto Alberghiero di Assisi at just 13 years old, by 14, Splendorini was staging at Caffè di Perugia under the mentorship of a Bacardi Classic champion, one of Italy’s most celebrated bartenders. His curiosity and dedication to the craft took him to London, where he developed his skills at Canal Sardo and delved into Japanese-influenced cocktails at Nobu.
In 2007, Carlo relocated to San Francisco, where he crafted the bar program at Gitane. His growing reputation led him to MICHAEL MINA San Francisco, a Michelin-starred haven, where he served as Lead Bartender. In addition to consulting on bar programs for over 50 venues nationwide, his accolades include being named a San Francisco Chronicle Bar Star, Zagat 30 Under 30 honoree, and winning multiple national and international cocktail competitions, including Bartender of the Year.
The drinks will be spectacular, of course, but so will the fare by Executive Chef Trevor Kalafus. Originally from Connecticut, Kalafus always enjoyed cooking, and by age 15, was taking on dishwashing and prep jobs, eager to get into the kitchen. From Newport, RI to now, NYC, Kalafus has held positions as Chef de Partie and Kitchen Supervisor at 22 Bowens and Bar & Board, Executive Sous Chef at NYC’s Grand Banks, Executive Chef at Pilot and Jungle Bird, Executive Sous Chef at Casa Lever and most recently the Chef de Cuisine at Casa Lever.
