Kicking off at 12:00pm on Saturday September 6, 2025 at the lush Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden, this year’s festival promises a feast of epic proportions.

This sizzling, annually sold-out celebration of all things pig is back & bigger than ever, ready to fill your plate and your glass with the finest flavors. From pork belly to pulled pork, ribs to roasts, every cut is served up hot & juicy by the country’s best chefs and pitmasters, and there’s a frosty drink always waiting to wash it down.
At the heart of this meaty mecca is the legendary Jimmy Carbone, restaurateur, chef, social entrepreneur, and the brain behind other beloved feasts like Brisket King, Rib King, Cider Feast, and Bowl of 'Zole. Pig Island is his ode to the hog, and he’s brought an all-star lineup of culinary heavyweights to push the boundaries of what a pork festival can be.
Of course, this isn’t your backyard BBQ! It's a high-level, chef-driven swine showcase of artistry served across the stunning 83-acre grounds of Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden, where the scent of hickory smoke floats on fresh breezes and sunbeams light up plates piled high with pork perfection.
Every hog is locally sourced from sustainable farms, lovingly prepped, smoked, grilled, pulled, and plated by true masters of the pit. This year’s pork-slinging legends include Eater-applauded Rodrigo Duarte of Don Rodrigo, Tank Jackson of Holy City Hogs, Gavin, Jamie, and Chris Farella of Brothers BBQ, Time Out-approved Oak Marprasert of KAM RAI THAI, Medium-featured May Jaijong of May Kaidee, and then some.
With all that meaty goodness, you’ll want something to sip. Expect an endless flow of cocktails, craft beer, cider, fine wines, and spirits. Every pour perfectly pairs with a slab of ribs or a spicy jerk pork slider. Just don’t forget to cool your palate at other activations such as the hot sauce station before going back for round two...or four.
And while meat may be the main event, Pig Island knows how to treat the whole palate.
