Executive Chef Javier Vázquez Mariño is behind the culinary magic. A native of Spain who worked in Barcelona for several years and who was recently at the Aviary at the Mandarin Oriental New York, Mariño draws from various cultures to create artisanal works of edible art, which are balanced by a lineup of craft cocktails that will elevate every mouthful.

Derived from Romani language meaning “to connect,” Fandi Mata invites you to do just that over plates of Tuna Crudo dotted with avocado, citrus, and radish, Branzino adjacent artichoke, chickpea, fava bean, and salsa verde, or Hanger Steak nestled next to hand-cut fries & peppercorn sauce. Of course, you have to try the house made Tiramisu for dessert.

Designer Matthew Maddy and his team transformed the restaurant's industrial space - originally built in 1930 - into a buzzing, sprawling, 8,000 square foot, lofted haven that captures the lively spirit of Mediterranean markets & bazaars. Think palm fronds, disco balls, Moroccan tiles, glass ceilings, stained glass from Berlin, Oaxacan pink stone bar tops hand-painted by Mexican artist Liene Ruban, and so much more - here, the world is at your fingertips!

When it comes to the delectable nosh, Chef Javier Vazquez Mariño (of Aviary at the Mandarin Oriental New York-fame) incorporates eclectic, world-driven cuisine with a vibrant and whimsical voyage of flavors, taking you around the globe for an avant-garde culinary and mixology experience.

Standouts on the menu include fresh PEI Mussels cooked in a saffron tomato broth and sided by fluffy focaccia, not to mention mains like the Grilled Swordfish with confit tomato, fennel, citrus, and salmoriglio sauce, as well as the Lamb Chops elevated by freekeh, apricot, pistachio, mint-pepper sauce, and zucchini relish. For dessert, the Butterscotch Pudding with salted caramel & chantilly cream will wow your sweet tooth.

With over 18 years of experience in the beverage industry, including a 15-year bartending tenure at the renowned Employees Only, managing partner Milos Zica leads Fandi Mata’s exceptional wine and cocktail program.
