Grab your $39 pulse (a $93 value) for a Dinner For Two that includes 2 Entrees, as well as 2 Cocktails, Glasses of Wines, or Beers to imbibe while you devour. This Eater & Time Out*-applauded is ready to impress!
Sip on a Maiko Lady (fresh raspberries, Roku gin, fresh lemon, sparkling rosé) or a Light in the Darkness (espresso, Finlandia vodka, Mr. Black, roasted sesame, sesame oil infused coffee bean) cocktail while you show off your chopstick mastery devouring an Unagi Special Roll repping eel, shrimp tempura, tobiko, avocado, cucumber, roasted sesame, & hot kewpie mayo sauce.
Other favorites include the Chicken Katsu Sando layered with katsu style cutlets, chef’s special sauce, shredded cabbage, and kewpie mayo on Balthazar sourdough, and the Grilled Seasonal Fish Teishoku Set with 7 grain rice, sesame paste, miso glazed eggplant, sweet omelette, and pickled tsukemono alongside miso soup, seasonal vegetables, dashi omelette, and house made pickles.

Nem's Japandi Bistro is the brainchild of Supranee "Nem" Phramdang, a Thai entrepreneur who grew up working with her family to run a number of restaurants in Bangkok. Nem fell in love with Japanese food and culture from a young age, as her family was raised in a Japanese community in Bangkok.
After earning her Bachelor of Arts, she spent a summer in Japan, where she became hooked on the food and the culture. Following the success of her Kent avenue small pop-up outside Fabbrica, she opened Nem’s Japandi Bistro, merging her passion for Japanese cuisine with the functionality & simplistic beauty of Scandinavian philosophy.
The menu is functional, accessible, mostly organic, always sustainable, and artful. With this approach in mind, Executive Chef Koichi Takayama, who hails from Saitama, Japan, upholds Nem’s dedication to using local, natural, and seasonal produce while also emphasizing resource, conservation, and sustainability.
Tuck into the Burrata Avocado Special Roll laden with burrata, avocado, salmon, black tobiko, cucumber, crispy gobo, and pesto sauce, not to mention the Spicy Hamachi Bowl loaded with jalapeño, yellowtail, yuzu citrus sauce, house-made pickled daikon radish, shiso, tobiko, scallion, renkon chips (lotus root), and sushi rice.
After you've filled up on exceptional eats, head upstairs to hidden speakeasy, Koi Ba. There, you can enjoy your included libation after dinner, or order a few more to ignite your evening. Either way, the superb sips are crafted by head bartender, Koji Matsuda.
