Come time to explore the menu, don't hesitate to try the Yellowfin Tuna Tartare with jasmine rice "chicharron", lime, furikake, and miso, followed closely by the grilled NY Strip with chile-herb butter and hand cut fries. This treasure trove of epicurean bliss boasts Chef Kevin McGinley, formerly of Michelin Star restaurant Bátard and Gotham Bar & Grill, who serves every dish with fanatical attention to flavor and detail.
Located directly across from the historically preserved Long Island City Gantries and the serene babble of the East River, they are inspired to look to the future with their seasonal approach. New York farms play a dominant role in sourcing their ingredients, all of which you'll savor.
Designed by Molly Elizabeth, the chic space is a meticulous in its contemporary flair and nods to classic New York, with leather butterscotch banquettes and its namesake metallic accenting a clean, crisp scene filled with savvy denizens. Should you choose to sit in covered outdoor seating, you'll be wowed by the city lights in all their glory as they flit across the water.
Settle in with a Sweet Heat craft cocktail (blanco tequila, orange liqueur, strawberry, jalapeño, lime) or relish the aromas of Cellier des Dauphins Côtes Du Rhône, kicking off the feast with some Crispy Calamari (pasilla chile remoulade, grilled lime) before you move on to mains.
Let Chef McGinley showcase his talent via a plate of Lobster Chitarra Pasta (roasted red pepper, Maine lobster, lemon bread crumb), not to mention the Heritage Pork Chop sided by pickled apple slaw, & house made cornbread. Whatever you choose, expect magnificent flavors at every turn.
