Enter Evalyn's Tap House, a Brooklyn neighborhood favorite overflowing with laidback sophistication, elevated by a menu chock full of drool-worthy fare, which gets a weekend lift via endless potent drinks for the ultimate duet!
There's a lot of European influence going on here. Think a mix of Bavaria, Alsace, Germany, and the Nordic countries, combined with an upscale menu and hip Brooklyn scene. The level of charm & warmth is high in this bright, buzzing locale, especially when you add free-flowing pours of mimosas made with freshly-squeezed OJ, and curated brews.
You can thank Chef Steffen Sander, the culinary designer at Essex Restaurant & Boukiés, for your delectable eats. His influence on the menu's development showcases locally sourced ingredients and quality produce, sprinkled heavily with seasonality to keep flavors fresh and taste buds overjoyed.
We adore the Roesti Benedict, featuring poached eggs on Swiss potato pancakes & hollandaise with a choice of beet-cured salmon with salmon caviar, house-cured ham, slab bacon, or sautéed spinach. The Tap House Burger is also a worthy contender with its stack of a Pat LaFrieda short rib/brisket blend patty, Manchego cheese, slab bacon, beer-braised onions, and dijon aioli on a pretzel bun.
