From the team behind jewels like June, LaRina, The Farm on Adderley, & Santamaria in Rome, Bacàn is a stunning addition to the collection, serving as a source of exquisite fare in a New York-style bistro, and specializing in what the Venetians call "Cicchetti," aka tapas style plates ideal for sharing.
Using locally-sourced, artisanal products & fresh ingredients, you'll slip into drinks like the Paradiso Spritz with St. Agrestis Paradiso, prosecco, orange, & olive, moving on to dishes like Tartare (filet mignon, egg yolk, parmigiano, sesami), Polpo (seared octopus, heirloom tomatoes confit, cherry tomatoes, stracciatella) & Pappardelle, homemade with ragu & parmigiano.
Bacàn in Venetian dialect means "noise." In Spanish it means "pleasant." With that in mind, it's time to make some noise for this pleasant excursion...

Their Venetian Cicchetti - otherwise known as Italian tapas - are made in-house daily, using none other than fresh ingredients and seasonal produce, in line with the outstanding work at the spot's sister restaurants, June, LaRina and The Farm on Adderley.
The rustic feel is made contemporary with vibrant energy, butterscotch leather, indoor/outdoor spaces, and modern lighting that casts an enchanting glow over this convivial gem.
The drinks program is impressive, repping a collection of hyper-curated wines, mixologist-developed cocktails, fabulous brews, and brilliant vermouths - who needs a flight to Venice when you can find it right here in the city?
The fare is the real winner, so devour the likes of Gnocchi Romani with brown butter, sage, and parmigiano, as well as the Uovo - a triumph of sourdough bread, parmigiano fondue, poached egg, and black truffle. Lest we forget, the Agnolotti (made Cacio e Pepe-style) is divine, as is the Pizza Prosciutto with prosciutto, arugula, and fior di latte.
