Owner Radouane Eljaouhari made his way to New York City after backpacking all over Europe and Africa once upon a time; naturally, Moroccan & French influences are woven throughout, from the Duck Confit with figs & roasted pears to the Steak Frites.
The spices pair beautifully with Maya Mezcal's smokey Signature Cocktails, like the Silver Fox (mezcal, cognac, campari, Guinness syrup, grapefruit) and the Cucumber Crush (cucumber, mezcal, apple, lemon, ginger, soda).

Settle into a cozy nook and start off with the Trio of Tacos (marinated steak, chicken & fish) or the Queso Fundidio, a bubbling pot of cheddar, oaxaca, & monterey jack fondue scooped up with poblano pepper and flour tortilla.
The entree section is well-traveled; the Pollo Salsa Verde is an irresistible braised chicken in garlic, jalapenos, epazote and served with rice & black beans; while purists will love the Pan Fried Cod Fish in a white wine tomato basil sauce, served with Mexican rice.
