Founded by restaurateur Danny Hahn and Chef Mason Rhee, The Bari "adds innovation to the repertory" of Korean cuisine with worldly references, according to The New York Times.
Start with the Herb Roasted Bone Marrow over torched and caramelized kimchi with a grilled sourdough toast; a charmingly laid-back yet sophisticated juxtaposition of flavors and textures.
Move on to the Chilean Sea Bass seared with a spicy sweet gochujang glaze, or the Gyu Katsu (fresh milk bread-crusted Wagyu, cabbage). Vegetarians will love the Cauliflower Steak complemented by grilled Brussels sprouts and orange-miso aioli.
A gorgeous housemade dessert and a bottle of fine wine or sake round out this lavish feast for the senses.
