Step inside Rodney’s, a revitalized version of the iconic Dangerfield’s, now bringing a modern twist to the Upper East Side comedy scene. Honoring its legendary founder, Rodney Dangerfield, the club blends classic New York stand-up with a contemporary flair.
Dating back to 1969, the venue earned its place in history as a launchpad for comedy superstars including Robin Williams, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, and Jim Carrey. Its fame even extends to the silver screen, with appearances in films like the 2019 hit "Joker" starring Joaquin Phoenix. While this celebration won't feature comedians, the space will be transformed for DJs, dancing, and a warm welcome to 2026.
Guiding this new era is local comedian and owner Mark Yosef, who curates nights full of laughter with both household names and rising stars. Audiences have enjoyed performances from talents such as Craig Robinson, Paul Mecurio, Shannon Fiedler, Cat Ce, and T.J. Miller, just to name a few.
Though Dangerfield’s doors closed during COVID, its legendary energy lingers within the walls. Guests can admire vintage posters and memorabilia that evoke the club’s rich history while soaking in the electric atmosphere.
