Named after the original founder, Rodney Dangerfield, this gem is ready to treat you to a historic scene on the Upper East Side, bringing back classic New York stand-up comedy with a modern twist.
The spot was formerly the iconic Dangerfield's Comedy Club, founded by legendary comedian Rodney Dangerfield in 1969. A landmark in New York City's stand-up scene, it was best known as the launchpad for superstars like Chris Rock, Robin Williams, Jim Carrey, and Jerry Seinfeld. Its legendary status is cemented through its rich history, which has been upheld in fabulous fashion by Rodney's.
Local comic and owner, Mark Yosef, pays homage to the rich past, hosting a knockout lineup of A-list comedians and rising stars that will make you LOL like never before. We're talking laughter connoisseurs like Craig Robinson, Paul Mecurio, Shannon Fiedler, Cat Ce, T.J. Miller - the list goes on & on! It's also been the filming location of films like 2019's "Joker" starring Joaquin Phoenix.
The oldest comedy club in the city, Dangerfield's closed during COVID, but retains its undeniably unforgettable vibe. Now, Rodney's keeps the magic alive, so you can giggle, LOL, ROFL, and double over with laughs that will last long after the set is over.
