So says the Michelin Guide when awarding Red Paper Clip in the West Village with the ever-coveted Michelin Star!

Grab your $189 pulse (a $264 value) for a 7 Course Tasting Dinner For Two, that includes 2 First Courses, 2 Second Courses, 2 Third Courses, 2 Fourth Courses, 2 Fifth Courses, 2 Sixth Courses, 2 Seventh Courses, and 2 Cocktails, Glasses of Wine, or Beers.

Equally-applauded by The New York Times & Forbes, this acclaimed jewel is ready to embrace you in an intimate scene, overflowing with exquisite creativity & flavors thanks to Chef Kevin Chen, who trained at the Michelin-starred gems Blue Hill at Stone Barns, and Grant Achatz’s Alinea in Chicago.

The menu will wow your senses with the freshest seasonal ingredients, best displayed in dishes like succulent Oysters to start, followed by delights like Lobster Three Ways (salt, pepper, sticky rice, miso beurre blanc), Everything Brioche with cured trout, miso yolk, and trout roe, and XLB Agnolotti with black truffle, pork, and ginger.

A sweet finish and the last sips of a Oaxaca Forever cocktail infused with mezcal, beets, and ginger add a glimmering cherry atop a night that will impress in every way...

The level of quality & the stunning sophistication found in each bite at Red Paper Clip attests to its never-ending praise, from the critics at Bon Appétit & The New York Times, to the industry leaders & luminaries at the Michelin Guide, who give the spot a round of applause - and a Michelin Star!

Native New Yorker & Chef Kevin Chen discovered his passion for cooking while working at his family’s bakery in Queens. After honing his skills at Soho House & One if by Land, Two if by Sea, he moved to Michelin marvel Alinea in Chicago. This, alongside his focus on local, seasonal ingredients, ultimately shaped his culinary philosophy and led him to Blue Hill at Stone Barns.

The minimalist design and cozy atmosphere draw attention to the food and its presentation, as Chef Chen carefully crafts what can only be described as works of art. As the Michelin Guide* puts it, "The pasta is a high point," and the "lobster three ways is also a treat and showcases the cleverly minded ethos of this cuisine."

Beverage Director John Parson (of Michelin-starred Agern) is also on deck, ready to shake things up behind the bar, our hand-pick a glass of wine that will make every morsel elevated to its highest potential. A classic Vesper Martini will stir up your night with vodka, Lillet, and lemon, while a red vintage is sure to make meaty mains shine.

The menu is hyper-seasonal, changing with every tide as you swoon over the freshest sensations. The Tomato dish is divine, repping matcha, charcoal, and Fresno chilies, not to mention the Cavatelli adored with scallop bonito, nori, and parmigiana. Lest we forget, relish the ingenuity of the Apple Fritter infused with cheddar, raspberry, and cognac.

As you approach the front of this West Village hideaway, look out for the neon Red Paper Clip that glows above the door. It's a beacon to unearth a night of delectable discovery...
