Opened in 1992, Piccolo Angolo has become a staple of the coveted neighborhood that it has called home all these years. Presenting authentic Italian cuisine, and run by the Migliorini family, you would be hard pressed to find a New Yorker unfamiliar with this corner treasure.
A bold bottle of red will set you up for a feast complete with starters like Mussels Agliatta (white wine, garlic, olive oil, red pepper flakes), moving on to mains such as the Veal Parmigiana - a breaded veal cutlet topped with mozzarella, parmigiana cheese, and tomato sauce.
Some crispy-on-the-outside, creamy-on-the-inside Cannolis will finish up the epicurean festa - you'll feel like a proper Italian in no time...

Begin with the Anjou Pear, Gorgonzola, Prosciutto & Italian Honey appetizer, followed by homemade pastas, the standout being the Venison Ragu over homemade cavateli or pappardelle. The Lamb Ossobuco braised in wine and tomato sauce is equally excellent.
