Notably, this year introduces three new award categories: Best New Bar, Outstanding Professional in Beverage Service, and Outstanding Professional in Cocktail Service.

Chef Manolo López is a celebrated Puerto Rican chef known for elevating Latin cuisine. He first made waves with Mofon•GO, a popular pop-up that brought traditional Puerto Rican mofongo to Brooklyn’s Smorgasburg market. Today, he continues to share his passion for bold, island-inspired flavors at Café Colmado, his restaurant on the Lower East Side.
Chefs Swetha and Venkat Raju, a husband-and-wife team from Bengaluru, India, launched the Brooklyn Curry Project in 2021 to bring the vibrant tastes of South Indian cuisine to their local community. What began as a modest lemonade stand near the Fort Greene Farmers Market quickly grew into a beloved food stall known for dishes packed with authentic flavors.
