The Executive Chef Nick Anderer fell in love with Rome's culinary treasures as an art history major at Columbia. Tracing a starry trajectory through Babbo and Gramercy Tavern, Anderer became the founding chef of Maialino at Gramercy Park Hotel - a flagship within Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group.
At Martina, the spirit of Rome's beloved eateries is invoked through rustic terra cotta and travertine, worn tile wainscoting, and glowing, open-hearth ovens.
The star of the show is the Roman-style pizza with a crisp crust that crackles slightly under luscious toppings.
