Founded by James Beard and Gael Greene (New York Magazine) in 1981, Citymeals on Wheels is a distinguished nonprofit that has delivered more than 50 million meals to homebound elderly New Yorkers on weekends, on holidays and during emergencies.
Current board members include Daniel Boulud, Bobbi Brown, and David Rockwell among numerous starry names, lending major wattage to this very important cause.
In support of this beloved organization, you will also be joined by a panel of sustainable chefs and restaurateurs, such as the host Joann Makovitzky, the CEO of One Five Hospitality Group (Tocqueville, 15 East), and panelists Jonah Miller, the Executive Chef & Owner of Huertas (2 NY Times stars), Jon Eisen of Between the Bread, and Siggy Sollitto of Siggy's Good Food.
Throughout the evening feast on exquisite dishes by Riverpark, made with ingredients from the restaurant's own rooftop farm, and upscale seasonal eats by the Rock Center Cafe.
Freely flowing wines and beers complete this splendid night of food and charity!
