Join on Saturday October 18, 2025, starting at 12:00pm as the Retrospective Beer Festival takes over Strong Rope Brewery in Red Hook for a one-of-a-kind celebration of NYC’s homebrewing scene.

The Brewminaries is a homebrew club in Brooklyn focused on helping every member make better beer through experiments, collaborative brewing, and monthly meetings. They were founded in 2015, when brewers who regularly attended the local homebrew shop Bitter and Esters’ bottle swaps wanted to make better beer. Over the past five years the club has rapidly grown into the largest homebrew club in New York City.
The Brewminaries is a club focused on accelerating members to advanced brewing levels and beyond. They give members the tools, knowledge, and the combined learning experiences of the entire club. They also pride themselves on being a positive and inclusive club that provides educational opportunities for all members. A group that includes everyone, from amateurs to professionals, their commitment to collaboration and experimentation drives the club towards better beer.
Celebrate hop-tastic sips at Brewminaries Present: Retrospective, a one-day-only homebrew festival marking 10 years of Brewminaries events. Held by the scenic waterfront at Strong Rope Brewery in Red Hook, this soirée features over 30 unique homebrews from some of the city's most talented brewers. Every pour is a chance to taste something unforgettable, all while soaking up breezy harbor views and autumnal bliss.
