Head to Madison Square Park to find yourself transported to the shores of East Hampton. BLACKBARN is nestled in a breathtaking space modeled after stately mansions, repping a sophisticated allure & superstar chef applauded by The New York Times, Travel + Leisure, and Zagat, just to name a few.

Grab your $45 pulse (an $82 value) for a Boozy Brunch For Two that includes 2 Mains, a Pitcher of White or Rosé Sangria, and Live Performances by La Pompe from 11:30am-2:30pm so you can shake it and sway while your gourmand heart sings.

Farm-to-table dining is at the core of BLACKBARN's gastronomical feats, all the while complemented by priceless views of Madison Square Park, overflowing pitchers of succulent sangria, and a menu that favors powerful, palate-pleasing ingredients.

Acclaimed Chef John Doherty (formerly Executive Chef at the Waldolf Astoria) develops dishes that Vogue Magazine calls "both beautifully bright in presentation and taste," such as tender Steak & Eggs or Cornflake Crusted French Toast dripping in butterscotch crème anglaise, rum caramelized bananas, & mascarpone whipped cream.

Sweet or savory, doughy or eggy, BLACKBARN will hush your weekend appetite with satisfying delight...

19 East 26th Street

BLACKBARN's chic, modern, and rustic interiors evoke a feeling of warmth unparalleled in the area. The tri-level space's ideal location in the heart of NoMad only furthers the menu comprised of ingenious eats that have garnered Chef John Doherty a procession of media praise.

Inspired by designer Mark Zeff's bespoke homes found dotting the beaches of East Hampton, BLACKBARN's upscale farmhouse heart gets an urban facelift with the use of reclaimed windows, an awe-inspiring overhead structure, and leather dining chairs made in Brooklyn.

The earthy elegance of this particular cuisine is translated in each plate, from BLACKBARN Burgers stacked high with layers of fried eggs, pork belly, pawlet cheese, jalapeños, & BBQ sauce, to exquisite servings of Egg Yolk Raviolo in a black truffle emulsion.

Fried Chicken & Waffles also get a Doherty-style makeover thanks to an infusion of rosemary-parmesan & a drizzle of Vermont maple butter sauce. There are nods to creole traditions (Shrimp & Grits), and hints of French indulgence (Waffle Croque Madame), all heightened by the finest live blues trios playing their soulful sounds throughout your feast.

This isn't your average brunch, and with a pitcher of succulent white or rosé sangria poured into your eager glasses, it's definitely one to pull yourself out of bed for in the morning...

All selections will be made from the restaurant's full brunch menu.

  • "The food was excellent and the waiter was top notch. The chicken and waffles, sweet potato pancakes and biscuit and gravy were delicious. This will definitely become my Sunday brunch spot."

  • "I am a jaded New Yorker and usually underwhelmed by the so to speak "hot spots". All I can say after my experience at BLACKBARN is.....Wow. The location is unique as it overlooks Madison Square Park and feels more like a European hide away. The food is everything you want it to be with an abundance of flavor and creativity."
