BLACKBARN is the opulent concept restaurant by Chef John Doherty, who has served some of the most distinguished figures in the world in his 23-year tenure as the Executive Chef of the Waldorf Astoria.

Mixing a luxurious sensibility with a farm-to-table ethos, BLACKBARN offers exceptional American dishes that BlackBook Magazine hails as "earthy...elegant, even sumptuous."

Inspired by designer Mark Zeff's bespoke homes in East Hampton, the multi-level space evokes a very chic farmhouse crossed with a city loft, boasting reclaimed windows and Spanish leather dining chairs that were hand-stitched in Brooklyn.

The Chef's Table Menu showcases the Chef's vision expressed with vibrant, sourced ingredients. Per fine dining tradition, the ritual begins with a glass of Champagne as an aperitif; you'll then move on to the Roasted Heirloom Carrots & Bufala, the Curried Long Island Soft Shell Crab, and the Heritage Chicken Ravioli & Chanterelle, each course paired with a sommelier-picked wine.

The Slow Roasted Veal Ossobuco (truffled gnocchi, sugar snap peas) is a show-stopping main. Your meal ends with a sweet touch of heaven: The White Chocolate Mousse.

From the food and drinks, to the service, decor, and atmosphere, BLACKBARN offers an exquisite night that blends natural inspiration with the sophistication of New York City.

  • "The food is incredible. I had the duck and I never want to eat duck at another restaurant ever again! But the truffle gnocchi was on another level. Amazing."

  • "I am a jaded New Yorker and usually underwhelmed by the so to speak "hot spots". All I can say after my experience at BLACKBARN is.....Wow.
