Mezcal: Mexico in a Bottle NYC, the biggest mezcal tasting in the United States, has finally made it to New York City! Join Asis Cortez, whose family have been making mezcal for six generations, and a host of producers, top restaurants, artists and entertainers for two nights of Mexican magic!
One of the amazing things about the mezcal world is that most mezcal producers are family operations; just like the 3 level authentic Mexican house that this event is being held at - LES hotspot that is part restaurant, part art gallery - Casa Mezcal.
As 100+ Mezcal producers descend on the venue for an epic 2 days, Casa Mezcal won't be the only restaruant represented. Danny Mena of Hecho en Dumbo, Edgar Morales of Cosme and many other mezcal luminaries will be on hand to lead tastings, pairings and informal chats.
Finally, Casa Mezcal’s Botanic Lab will feature guests mixologists to expand your perspective on mezcal cocktails - come prepared for a really, really good time!
