Jue Lan Club is named after an avant-garde group of artists who came together in Shanghai and Paris in the 1930s. Paying homage to the celebrated clubs of that era, the magnificent decor features custom furniture, a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, plush velvet banquettes and dripping chandeliers.
That bohemian spirit lends a mysterious aura to Jue Lan, an intoxicating blend of brunch club, art gallery, and social scene - as WWD notes, the perfect storm of "vibe dining."
To start, choose from any of the exquisite Dim Sum dishes, such as the Lobster & Shrimp Shumai in Coconut Curry Broth or the Crab & Pork Soup Dumplings.
For your main, the Wok Charred Beef is a showstopper; from the sea, the Grand Marnier Jumbo Prawns (honey walnuts) and the Chilean Sea Bass (black bean, ginger garlic sauce) are decadent enough to please Jue Lan's star-studded clientele.
