Bar Virage's menu reflects the fresh, Isareli ethos; all organic and all fresh. Try the addicting Lamb Sliders to start, followed by the juicy Charcoal Grilled NY Strip Steak with Israeli couscous, or the Seared Salmon (majadra, mint-dill yogurt).
Meanwhile, the wood and metal accents and neutral tones create a lovely, modern ambiance that's as perfect for both romantic dinners as it is for a night out with friends.
Located in the heart of the trendy East Village, Bar Virage is an airy bistro that sources local, farm fresh ingredients for delectable, indulgent and healthy dishes.
On the thoughtfully curated menu, you'll find a range of beloved Israeli dips and small plates (Hummus, Babaganoush, Roasted Cauliflower with tahini) alongside flaky Moroccan Beef Cigars and tender Smoked Octopus over fingerling potatoes and harissa.
The main dishes also continue to focus on contemporary Israeli cuisine with Continental influence, such as the Majadra paired with black lentil bulgur, bably kale & tahini, or the rich Short Rib Risotto braised in red wine.
