Jazz legend and bebop pioneer, Charlie Parker, AKA Bird, and his music have stood the test of time, his work inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame long after his death. From August 24 until August 28, City Parks Foundation is celebrating the artist’s work and legacy with the Charlie Parker Jazz Festival throughout New York City. Every night there will be a different performance of modern music that captures the spirit of Parker’s work.
