This isn't your average mini golf course by the mall, the scene of your awkward teen dating memories. A part of volunteer-run participatory art festival FIGMENT on Governors Island, "Mini is the New Big!" is part mini golf course, part large scale outdoor art installation. As you put around artist-created courses like an amoeba and an iPhone charger, you'll feel the whimsy and excitement of childish play - and isn't that what summer stands for?

Golf course is free and open to public on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 6pm, and during the week from 10am to 5pm.
