Who needs A/C when you can get the chills from that classic summer horror film, Jaws? The United Palace of Cultural Arts, a historic movie palace and vaudeville venue founded in 1930, is hosting a special screening and beach party. Come indulge in refreshments by Seawalk, beachwear fashion show, complimentary leis, Tahitian dancing, photo booth, sandpits and even Tiki torches. All that would be followed by the movie on a 50 ft screen and a state-of-the-arts projector donated by Lin-Manuel Miranda, a Washington Heights native. Come wearing your beachy best to get a free bag of popcorn. Tickets are $10.
