Company XIV has spent two decades turning nightlife into high art, fusing burlesque, ballet, circus, opera, cabaret, and jaw-dropping theatricality into spectacles unlike anything else in NYC. Founded in 2006 by Metropolitan Opera choreographer, Juilliard School alum, and nightlife impresario Austin McCormick, Company XIV is the dazzling product of classical training colliding with after-dark abandon. McCormick developed his signature “Baroque Burlesque” style by blending the opulence of 17th-century court performance with contemporary dance, opera, drag, cabaret, and burlesque, resulting in shows that are as technically astounding as they are wildly seductive. The company has since become famed for blockbuster productions including Nutcracker Rouge, Queen of Hearts, Seven Sins, and Cocktail Magique.
The magic unfolds at Théâtre XIV, Company XIV's 164-seat immersive playground tucked away in the heart of Bushwick's Graffiti Alley.
