A multi-faceted artist and a poster child for post-modernism, David Salle's paintings have been exhibited at the Whitney, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, MoMA Vienna, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, and many more. As a collaborator with choreographer Karole Armitage, he has created sets and costumes for many of her ballets and operas staged at the Met Opera House, the Paris Opera, and more.
