Murray’s is kicking off its National Cheese Lover’s Celebration with an event at its Bleecker Street shop, debuting its newest cave-aged release, Murray’s Cave Aged Savage, with a “Melt & Metal” theme that mashes cheese culture with heavy metal vibes. Joined by Von Trapp Creamery and On Savage, Murray’s will be live-branding wheels of cheese while serving melty raclette from Maker to Monger, Murray’s Mac, and Murray’s Melts, alongside hardcore bites and beverages from Queen Majesty Hot Sauce, Torch & Crown Brewing, and She Wolf Bakery’s butter bar. Guests can enjoy a temporary tattoo station (and score a free wedge of Savage by showing off a St. Kenia cheese flash tattoo), compete in a metal costume contest for the chance to win a full wheel of Savage, and keep the celebration going with daily tastings at both shops, plus a free gift with any $30 purchase on January 20.
