Harry Potter New York is celebrating five magical years in the heart of New York City with a five-day birthday celebration for fans. Since opening its doors, the flagship store has welcomed witches, wizards and muggles from around the world to experience the magic of the wizarding world in New York City.

To mark this milestone anniversary, the store will host five days of spellbinding festivities filled with themed décor, exclusive giveaways and interactive experiences from June 3 through June 7. The schedule of events is outlined below:

All Celebration Long (Wednesday, June 3 – Sunday, June 7):

• Festive Decorations: Harry Potter New York will be transformed into a birthday spectacular, complete with magical décor including balloons, banners and more, which will be available all five days for guests to enjoy.

• Interactive Scavenger Hunt: Fans can take part in a themed in-store scavenger hunt inspired by mischievous Nifflers, hidden throughout both levels of the store. Guests can pick up maps at the entrance of the store and those who find all eight and complete their map can redeem a special five-year anniversary prize.

Wednesday, June 3

• Free Party Hats: To kick off the festivities, fans will receive complimentary birthday party hats to join in the celebration.

• Limited-Edition Anniversary Pin: Fans who make a purchase on June 3 will receive an exclusive five-year anniversary pin to commemorate the occasion.

• Complimentary Birthday Cake: The celebration wouldn’t be complete without cake! The first 100 guests to visit the store on June 3 will receive a free slice of birthday cake.

Thursday, June 4

• Birthday Donation: Harry Potter Shop New York is proud to partner with The Birthday Party Project to help children experiencing homelessness feel seen, known, and celebrated on their special day! Fans can help spread a little extra JOY through this effort. On June 4, for every transaction made at checkout, Harry Potter Shop New York will donate $1 to The Birthday Party Project, helping bring memorable birthday celebrations to children who deserve to feel celebrated.

Friday, June 5

• New Merch Range: Beginning June 5, fans can shop a brand-new Harry Potter birthday retail range, featuring exclusive merchandise.

Saturday, June 6

• Free Personalization: The first 100 fans in store will receive a complimentary personalized Hogwarts acceptance letter to honor the occasion. Vouchers will be distributed to redeem this exclusive experience.

Sunday, June 7

• New Butterbeer Treat: Beginning June 7, fans can enjoy a new treat at the Butterbeer Bar with the debut of celebratory cake pops. Created especially for the five-year anniversary, these limited-time treats will be available in raspberry and Butterbeer flavors.
