In this class you will learn how to dye using natural textiles and natural dyes. You will use flowers, roots, leaves, exotic dyes, medicinal plants and even food waste to make a vibrant rainbow of natural color on an organic cotton tee shirt. You will learn some simple shibori techniques (Japanese art of folding and dyeing) and the classic tie dye swirl to make beautiful patterns on your fabric.
