Called "one of the best cookbooks of fall 2016" by The New York Times, Small Victories is a gorgeous 400-recipe book that celebrates those moments of triumph when you realize you, too, can cook something decent or even brag-worthy. Turshen is best known for co-authoring books with celebs like Mario Batali and Gwyneth Paltrow - not bad, not bad at all. There will also be a discussion moderated by Alison Roman, a freelance food writer for Bon Appetit and The NY Times. As these things go, usually there are good refreshments to be had...especially since it's taking place at Dean & Deluca.
