Citizens will celebrate the grand opening of its new Downtown Flushing branch with a community Mid-Autumn Festival on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
Partnering with Moonlite, the family-friendly Mid-Autumn Festival will be an afternoon celebrating the Harvest Moon holiday, one of the biggest holidays for Asian American families. The festival will feature Asian American-inspired cuisine celebrating the season's themes of harvest, abundance, and togetherness. The celebration will also include live music from Kung Flow, a multidisciplinary supergroup; a traditional sugar artist; and games and giveaways. Awaken Lion NY, a Flushing-based group, will perform a traditional lion dance at the event.
Join in front of Queens Crossing for the festival, and stop by to share mooncakes from Flushing's own Mr. Tu Bakery.
