Dig into sweet Brioche French Toast crowned with almond-cardamom Chantilly and maple syrup, a savory Croque Monsieur layered with jamón, Gruyère & béchamel, Smoked Salmon Benedict with hollandaise, or go classic with eggs, house-made chicken sausage, breakfast potatoes & herb-roasted mushrooms. Naturally, brunch deserves a little liquid sparkle. A glamorous newcomer on Hell’s Kitchen’s legendary Restaurant Row, Bar Lola is the latest creation from PMac’s Hospitality Group, the family-run New York restaurant group founded by Dublin-born brothers Michael and Patrick McNamee. The duo have brought their signature Irish hospitality to an eclectic collection of beloved spots including Dutch Fred’s, Tanner Smith’s, Haswell Green’s, The Dickens, The Mean Fiddler, Vida Verde, Miss Nellie’s, and Sir Henry’s. Each has its own personality, and Bar Lola may just be the group’s most seductive yet.
Opened in March 2026, Bar Lola takes its name and attitude from Lola Montez, the famously bold 19th-century Irish dancer, actress, and adventurer. Inspired by Spanish wine bars and French bistros with a distinctly New York edge, the 125-seat, two-story space feels perfectly at home in the Theater District. Its soaring Art Nouveau-inspired bar takes center stage, surrounded by dark maroon tile, ornate millwork, vintage artwork, and dramatic murals, including original works commissioned from New York artist Janet Restino.
Downstairs dining flows into a mezzanine with plush banquettes, while the upper level overlooks the bar and leads to an outdoor patio with a retractable roof. By day, it’s an elegant café and brunch gem. Come evening, it transforms into a buzzy pre-Broadway rendezvous and sultry late-night cocktail haunt. The kitchen stays open until midnight, with the bar pouring well into the night.
At the helm, Executive Chef Hesh Darwish delivers a globally inspired menu made for sharing. Inventive cocktails and an international wine selection complete the bliss, taking you effortlessly from espresso hour to martini hour.
