On Thursday October 15, 2026 at 6:00pm, Youth for Youth takes over the spectacular Léman Ballroom in the Financial District for its third annual charity gala, this year joining forces with the Food Education Fund for a night where New York hospitality meets philanthropy. Expect an elegant downtown affair filled with cocktails, incredible food, music, mingling, and plenty of reason to stay on the dance floor.

Youth for Youth began with two longtime friends and hospitality professionals, Alexander Morris and Joshua Small, united by a simple idea: use their world of food, service, and hospitality to create unforgettable experiences that give something back. Now in its third edition, their annual charity dinner combines the polish of a New York gala with a more intimate, food-forward spirit. Think seriously stylish dinner party with purpose.
This year's beneficiary, the Food Education Fund, works with NYC public high school students to turn an interest in food and hospitality into tangible opportunity. Its programs combine hands-on education, professional readiness, mentorship, industry exposure, and pathways from the classroom to paid internships, helping young New Yorkers build the skills and connections needed to enter hospitality careers and beyond.
Food is naturally at the heart of the evening, with dinner catered by Tastings. Founded by Alexandra Morris and built over two decades, the women-owned and led collective brings together chefs, artists, stylists, and hospitality professionals to create bespoke culinary experiences. Rather than relying on one-size-fits-all event menus, Tastings describes its approach as building menus from the ground up, with an emphasis on thoughtful sourcing, plating, cocktails, and the overall rhythm of the experience.
Then there's the setting. The Léman Ballroom occupies the former main banking hall of the 1928 Lee, Higginson & Company Bank Building, designed by Cross & Cross. The 5,700-square-foot ballroom is pure old New York grandeur repping 30-foot bronze-capped mosaic columns, cathedral-height ceilings, travertine floors, and a restored 225-foot maritime mural wrapping around the room.
Steps from the New York Stock Exchange, this night makes an ordinary Thursday feel cinematic, and a fitting backdrop for four hours of dinner, cocktails, music, and giving back...
