Just in time for the spring harvest, Executive Chef Nicholas McCann will debut a menu that will showcase the best of the season. Join Society Cafe at the Walker Hotel Greenwich Village, a beloved culinary haven known for its market-to-table dining, as it launches Field & Feast, a new seasonal dinner series celebrating its close partnerships with New York’s local farms. This night will spotlight a different farm and feature hyper-local, peak-season ingredients paired with thoughtfully selected wines, all curated by Executive Chef Nicholas McCann.

The series kicks off with an evening dedicated to Hudson Harvest, Sugar Hill Farm, and Ravines Wine Cellar. Just in time for the spring harvest, the menu will showcase the vibrant freshness of the season. You'll have the chance to meet the farmers and winemakers behind these ingredients and hear firsthand about their commitment to sustainable agriculture and the farm-to-table movement. Their passion and care are evident in every bite & sip.

Among them is Josh Cohen of Hudson Harvest, a former NYC chef and Food52 Test Kitchen Director who brings years of culinary expertise and a love for seasonal produce to his work. Representing Ravines Wine Cellar are Lisa and Morten Hallgren, pioneers of dry, mineral-driven Riesling in the Finger Lakes, who now sustainably farm 130 acres and lead a respected food and wine program.

The dinner will wow at every turn, with plates like Squash Blossoms (ricotta, peas, ramps), Stuffed Artichokes (feta, honey, olives), Nicoise Primavera dotted with asparagus, artichokes, pinto potato, quail egg, tender greens, olive, and radish, Porchetta (wild fennel, stuffed morels, legumes), and Strawberry & Rhubarb dolloped with Chantilly. Add the wine pairing, and experience each mouthful in a dazzling way your taste buds will adore.
