You'll have exclusive access to the House of the Redeemer, designated a landmark in 1974. Stylistically based on Italian Renaissance & Baroque furnishings and architecture, marvel in it all as well as the library room, one of the great treasures of the House, constructed to mirror the 16th-century Ducal Palace in Italy. The woodwork & mantel were shipped from Italy and incorporated into the design, meaning authenticity reigns supreme.
Dressed in your Venetian Carnevale or your Italian nobility best, devour delectable hors d'oeuvres & savor top notch tipples from the open bar. Even sweet-tooths will find their happy place via cake samples brought in by the esteemed Lady M.

Upstairs NYC is a non-profit organization that focuses on promoting learning and community engagement across four pillars: art and culture, lifestyle, technology, and food. Events like the Spring Gala have helped bring people together to try new experiences and activities in the name of a great cause.
House of the Redeemer, built between 1914 and 1916 by architect Grosvenor Atterbury, was designed to incorporate Italian furnishings, with sections of the historic library transported from Italy during World War I. It features an impressive library from a 17th-century Ducal palace in Italy, boasting a painted coat of arms & a secret passageway. In other words, the perfect setting for this vivacious fête!
Step into the seductive, clandestine world of this soirée, whose Venetian Sleeping Beauties theme borrows from this year's MET Gala. This extraordinary event will transport you to the world of Medieval Europe, so round up your crew, maybe even don a Venetian Carnevale mask - the night is yours to take!
And when it comes to sustenance, this spectacular has it all, from a chef-driven menu of hors d'oeuvres, to endless premium drinks, and live performances by talented pianist, cellist & a violinist trio.
