Earning a Star in The New York Times and subsequently dubbed a Critic's Pick, Tsismis is well worth all the hubbub. Filipino for "gossip," you'll whisper about its excellence and share your new obsession with your fellow gourmands, spreading the word about this exquisite piece of epicurean gold.

Grab your $39 pulse (a $71 value) for a Cocktail Brunch For Two that includes 2 Entrees and 1 Pitcher of Mimosas to heighten each indulgent bite.

Executive Chef Jappy Afzelius leans on his impressive resume - which includes training in Italy, as well as time spent at Benoit Bistro by Alain Ducasse and David Burke Fabrick - to develop and execute an incredibly authentic yet innovate menu.

The Brioche French Toast is a sweet sensation thanks to Ube butter, maple syrup, & fresh berries, while their signature Stevo’s Burger comes loaded with a USDA Prime short rib patty, blue cheese, caramelized onions, and a side of kamote fries - all paired perfectly with your bubbly bevvies.

Cheers to you, and a newfound favorite brunch spot...

Experience why Time Out & The Infatuation praise its creations, and savor "Casual Filipino from a Fine-Dining Chef" (as described by Eater) at Tsismis - a critically-acclaimed Filipino-style treasure on the Lower East Side that begs to be shared with epicureans all over New York City and beyond.

A native of the Philippines and a graduate of The Cooking Academy in Manila, Chef Jappy Afzelius then spent time in Paris to intern under Alain Ducasse. From there, he flexed his muscles at Manila Social Club in Brooklyn, but craved his own spot to show off his talents.

Tsismis was born, and the rest is history. Expect a colorful array of art, and windows donning stenciled cartoon characters and text bubbles in various languages that inspire Filipino cuisine; French, English, Spanish, and Tagalog.

Pour yourself some mimosas and devour the savory Chorizo Benedict (poached eggs, chorizo hubad, calamansi hollandaise, brioche bun), or give the Beef Tapsilog (fried beef jerkey, garlic fried rice, fried egg, chayote relish) a try for a traditional twist.

Whatever decision you make, you can't go wrong. If the "tsismis"(translated also to mean rumor) is true, you'll surely be delighted...

All selections will be made from the restaurant's full brunch menu.

Your $39 Cocktail Brunch For Two (a $71 value) Includes:

  • 2 Brunch Entrees (up to an $18 value each).
  • 1 Pitcher of Mimosas (approx. 5-6 glasses; up to a $35 value).
  • Valid for in person dining or pick up.

Tsismis is worth the hype, boasting 4 stars on Yelp from 75+ reviews including:

  • "We went for brunch and can't wait to go back! Bangsilog, fried vegetable lumpia, ube ice cream, coffee and calamansi soda were on point. All delicious. The pancit palabok was the best I've ever had! Hoping to go back soon. So here's the Tsismis: you've got to try this restaurant!"

  • "Being Filipino, we always look for a modern take on our traditional dishes, which is exactly what we got at Tsismis. The service was exceptional and the chef even came out. The ambiance was really cool with Filipino art and some of our cultures staples can be seen around. I think this place is doing a great service to presenting delicious Filipino food."

  • "A hip Filipino spot in the LES! I went for brunch and you MUST go too! The breakfast is perfect. We had the Pineapple Tocino Liempo, Bangsilog, and Beef Tapsilog which all had a gorgeous egg. The salty, fatty proteins were all perfect. Try the Pinsit Frito! Hilariously nostalgic music."
