Celebrated Executive Chef Roy Wohlars (Harbor Montauk, Bouchon) adds modern, locavore touches to classic American favorites. Try the New York Strip Steak dabbed with garlic thyme butter and oregano chimichurri, or the Tuna Poke: sustainably caught yellowfin tuna, avocado, seaweed, and scallions, sprinkled with ponzu and topped with crunchy fried wontons.
Imaginative cocktails designed by Gareth Howells further tempt your palate, from the Rosé all Day (Grapefruit Peche Martini Ambrato, Hennessy VS, draft rosé) to the Young Joven (Angostura, Benedictine, lime, Grenedine, Ilegal Joven).

Founded in Fall 2016 by the seasoned nightlife entrepreneur James Morrissey, The VNYL (Vintage New York Lifestyle) is a sprawling 7,000 square-foot lifestyle venue combining a restaurant, multiple bars, a cafe, and a vinyl record store directed by the actor Adrian Grenier.
With plush velvet-upholstered couches, white marble tables, rich jewel tones, and gold details, the decor in the Main Room and the Mezzanine nods to the sybaritic 1970s. Upstairs, the Black Rose Room is a nocturnal beauty of a cocktail den, and the Champagne Garden evokes the pink & green exuberance of retro Hollywood mansions.
Start off with the Meatballs (brisket-blend beef, housemade marinara, Pecarino Tuscano), then move on to the Lamb Flatbread (grilled naan, roasted pomodorino) topped with cool dill & tzatziki sauce. The Fried Chicken Sliders made of crispy buttermilk chicken thighs are another house-favorite throwback specialty.
Save some room for vintage-inspired desserts like the Oreo Cheesecake (whipped cream cheese, chocolate drizzle) and the Cookie Dough S'more - cookie dough, chocolate whipped cream, and charred marshmallows all sandwiched between slabs of Graham cracker.
